The Colorado River daily stretch is a 14 mile section of our Fisher Towers trip outlined above. This is a popular choice for Scout groups, Church youth groups and adult groups looking to get their feet wet river rafting. Just outside of Moab, UT for easy access. You will spend a day playing on the river; lunch is served within sight of the 12,000 LaSal Mountains and Fisher Towers formations.
Put in is a Hittle Bottom and take-out is at mile 10 1/2.
Daily River Trips are a great introduction to river running. For the beginner or veteran, our one day trip gives you all the best of river running: whitewater, beach fun, good food, and great company. The price includes: transportation from the South side of the Colorado River Bridge and back, lunch, and the use of our waterproof containers for your camera, sunscreen and extra clothes.
$60 per person, $50 for youth (under 18 years) and groups of 10 or more (transportation included), $45 per person for groups of 25 or more (transportation not included)
Groups under 25 guests we meet on the South side of the Colorado River Bridge, on Highway 191, North end of Moab at 10:00 a.m. (Mountain Time).
Groups greater than 25 we meet at Hittle Bottom, mile marker 23 (put-in) at 10:00 a.m. You can reach Hittle Bottom by taking State Hwy 128 east along the Colorado River (Junction between 128 and Highway 191 near Colorado River Bridge, north of Moab, Utah). It is 23 miles from the junction. Holiday will pick up shuttle vehicle drivers at the take-out point at mile 10 1/2, (at 9:00 a.m.) if applicable, and take them up to Hittle Bottom where the rest of their group will be.
Many guests ask us if tipping is appropriate after the trip. If you feel the guides have been instrumental in your enjoyment of the trip, you may choose to direct a gratuity to the trip leader in the form of cash or check. He/She will then distribute it evenly to the other crew members. However, the decision to tip is left to your sole discretion.
