This is the perfect escape for the enthusiastic sea kayaker seeking the pace and feel of a true vacation. This remote section of the Baja coastline is a paddler’s dream, offering unique scenic beauty combined with abundant wildlife viewed from above and below the water’s surface. The Sea of Cortez presents optimal paddling conditions in the fall and spring. Enjoy the warm (80 degrees F) waters in fall for snorkeling to your heart’s content. Spring trips are characterized by warm, calm days and possible encounters with migrating whales.

Kayaking along this section of Baja coastline allows us the opportunity to explore a region accessible only by water. This remote road-less area offers isolated beaches, canyons, arroyos filled with palm trees dotted with small fishing villages and ranches. Most of our crew grew up in this area which adds a unique insight into the local culture as we visit their relatives and learn about the regional history while exploring coastal, ranching and fishing villages.

Our flexible itinerary and skiff support facilitate a variety of activities including side trips for fishing, snorkeling, hiking and possible whale watching. Our motorized support skiffs make for a safe and luxurious sea kayaking excursion. The skiffs are available for emergencies and to carry heavy equipment from camp to camp so your kayaks are light and easy to paddle. One skiff will accompany the kayakers for safety yet remains out of ear shot so that you’ll forget it’s even there while enjoying the serenity of the Baja coastline.

There is nothing that compares to the color of the water, the feel of the soft air, and the gentle rock of the kayak. Gorgeous fish, and wonderful guides. Thanks for an experience I'll not soon forget. I wish I could transport myself back to Mexico as I look out at the snowy city...

The big selling point for all of us on the trip, was that it is an opportunity for families/friends of dissimilar athletic abilities to get together in a fabulous setting. Someone can run a 50k in the desert, kayak 20 miles, and snorkel, while another one might lay on the beach & read novels/drink margaritas, and even though the guides speak impeccable English, another one could use the trip as an intensive Spanish class. One can do any group activity or go off on one's own. It is one of the few opportunities that I've seen where families could get together in a fabulous setting so inexpensively and not be on top of one another, as they might in a big beach house. There's also a ton [***A TON***] to be said for not having the burden or stress of organizing activities or food for a large group.

Just returned from my trip to La Paz and I will have to say it was fantastic! Our guide Miguel is even better than what we expected and the other staff members who cooked and worked hard to make us comfortable were a very friendly and fun loving group. I recommend this trip to anyone who loves to kayak, live in a bathing suit, snorkel, eat tremendous food and return home completely satisfied.

We just got back today from our trip to La Paz. I just had to let you know what a great time we had! For me, it was my second time, but it was so different than the first!! It completely surprised me. Miguel our guide showed us things I did not see on the first trip!! He was excellent!! So knowledgeable and friendly. He did everything he could to make sure we had a great time!! Again, thank everyone for us for making our vacation a very memorable one!

We had been looking forward to this trip all winter, and when it finally arrived, we were not let down. Your guides make everything slick and easy... My daughter couldn't get over the tropical fish, having never seen one outside of a fish tank. We were well fed, well tanned, and happy when we headed home. Thank you all for our fabulous memories.
