Lodore Canyon Green river trip. Even if you've already experienced Cataract Canyon, you haven't seen it like this. Come join us as we approach Cataract Canyon from the Green River, allowing an extended eight days for exploring slot canyons, Cottonwood studded canyon bottoms and ancient Indian dwellings. Some of the highlights of this trip will include hiking from Water Canyon to Dollhouse, enjoying the depths of Dark Canyon and not to be forgotten the raging whitewater of Cataract Canyon.

Are you looking for more than an adventure vacation? Then this kayaking experience through some of the most magnificent wilderness canyons of the Southwest is the answer.
Prior kayaking experience is not necessary but a kayak swimming pool class which can be found at most colleges and universities is suggested to help speed your learning on the river. You should be in excellent physical condition and comfortable

More that a billion years ago sandstone, shale, and limestone accumulated in a basin on the western edge of ancestral North America. About a hundred million years ago these sedimentary rocks were intruded by granitic magma of the Idaho Batholith. Accompanying the intrusion was faulting, metamorphism of the Precambrian sedimentary rocks (resulting in quartzite, schist, and gneiss), and accumulation of ore minerals. Erosion by rivers and glaciers unroofed the batholith and created magnificent land forms including one of the deepest canyons in North America. We will discuss geologic history, bedrock and placer gold mining, and the Earth’s largest documented floods. Main Salmon river trip.

Join the ladies from “Team Sugar” of Park City Utah on a 4-day White Rim trail mountain bike ride. They will share their knowledge and give you tips to improve your mountain biking skills.
